Epic S7310 - 2 Component Urethane Potting Compound

Epic S7310 is a black two-component urethane potting compound that features

• Low viscosity
  
• 1:1 volumetric mix ratio
  
• Good resin/hardener compatibility
  
• Good durometer stability after exposure to elevated temperatures.
  

Based on thermally aging data, Epic S7310 will work in the -55C to 125C operating range, providing stress relief to the sensitive surface mount components.

Epic S7351 - 2 Component -Room Temperature -Polybutadiene Based Polyurethane

Epic S7351 is a two-component room temperature cure polybutadiene based polyurethane potting compound. Epic S7351 was specifically formulated for electronic marine modules (EMMs) and is also an excellent candidate for electronic control modules (ECMs). Due to its low hardness and flexibility/ S7351 will not exert stress on delicate surface mounted devices (SMDs) on printed circuit boards (PCBs) when exposed to extreme thermal cycling typical of marine and automotive electronics applications. This polyurethane potting compound is an excellent alternative to rigid systems that do not allow expansion and contraction of delicate components causing failures. Also due to the polybutadiene chemistry used in this formula the product provides excellent high-temperature properties up to 125C and much-improved chemical resistance.

Epic S7475 - 2 Component Polyurethane Potting Compound

Epic S7475 is a two-component polyurethane potting compound that was formulated for potting electronic control modules (ECMs). The low mixed viscosity of S7475 allows the material to flow into intricate places under printed circuit boards and other tight tolerance areas in a wide variety of electronic devices. Another key property of this product is the 4:1 by volume mix ratio that makes the system very adaptable to meter mix and dispenses applications. Offering a hardness of Shore OO = 50-65/ S7475 provides excellent flexibility therefore allowing delicate surface mounted devices (SMDs) to expand and contract during thermal shocks and thermal cycling. This polyurethane potting compound is also flame retardant, being UL 94V0 recognized at 5.4mm. For applications that generate a great deal of heat this product is also an excellent choice due to its low weight loss at elevated temperatures. S7475 has shown extremely low weight loss at 130C - 0.24% after 168 hours.

Epic S7391-03 is a two-component polyurethane gel potting compound designed for potting sensitive electrical components. Epic S7391-03 features a convenient 1:1 volumetric mix ratio as well as a very low mixed viscosity. Epic S7302 - Polyurethane Room Temperature Cure System

Epic R1074-06/H4030-02 - Epoxy Potting Compound

Epic R1074-06/H4030-02 is a premium, UL 94 V-0 recognized fire retardant epoxy potting compound that features excellent electrical properties and a long working life. Epic Resins R1074-06/H4030-02 has a low viscosity to help with flow and penetration in tight tolerance applications.

Epic 0154 - Epoxy Potting Compound

Epic 0154 is a low-temperature heat cure, thermally conductive epoxy potting compound for electrical components. Epic 0154 features good electrical properties, minimal settling characteristics and good heat transfer in a single component epoxy. Epic 0154 has excellent shelf life stability for a one component heat cure epoxy resin. Epic 0154 also boasts a medium to low viscosity not usually associated with such a heavily filled system.

Epic S7356-2 Component Polyurethane Potting Compound

Epic S7356 two component polyurethane electrical potting compound was specifically formulated for automotive sensors, switches, and other electrical devices requiring protection from "under the hood" environments. Epic S7356 has successfully passed automotive thermal shock and thermal cycling evaluations and has also proven itself in the field in a wide range of automotive applications. This urethane potting compound features a convenient 1:1 by volume mix ratio and low viscosity which makes it very accommodating to meter mix and dispense applications.

Another key feature of this system is that it offers a very fast room temperature gel time in a small mass making it an excellent system for applications requiring small amounts of potting. The fast gel time provides the advantage of rapid cycling of parts. The Shore A = 60-65 hardness range is also a valuable feature allowing delicate components to expand and contract when exposed to temperature swings without causing physical stress that can create failures.

Epic S7260 is a two component urethane potting compound with a convenient 3:1 by volume mix ratio.  S7260 has a standard 15 minute gel time that can be adjusted upon request.  Epic S7260 is an excellent choice for cable splicing or junction potting.

Epic S7478 - 2 Component Polyurethane Potting Compound

The Epic S7478 is a two component polyurethane potting compound designed for use in high temperature applications.  Epic S7478 is UL 94 V-0 recognized in a thin cross section without the use of halogen flame retardants and offers a 140°C RTI recognized by UL.  The Epic S7478 works extremely well for LED drivers that must meet the requirements of UL 8750 safety standards for LED equipment in lighting products, damp location drivers, electrical encapsulation, signs and many other electrical potting applications.  For more technical information on Epic S7478 please view the brochure below.

Epic S7174-03 is a fire resistant, two component, filled epoxy electrical potting and casting system. Epic S7174-03 features a low mixed viscosity, convenient mix ratio and very low shrinkage. This product is an outstanding selection for high voltage power supplies requiring good thermal conductivity. This electrical potting product is UL 94 V-0 recognized at 3 mm.

Epic R1055/H5083 - Epoxy Electrical Potting System

Epic R1055/H5083 is a vacuum grade modified epoxy electrical potting system that is formulated to achieve penetration of tightly wound electrical coils. The system cures at ambient temperatures thereby affording the user the opportunity to reduce substantial energy costs normally associated with heat curing systems. When fully cured, Epic R1055/H5083 potting compound features a combination of good physical and electrical properties that particularly qualify the compound for potting high voltage power supply sources with a UL recognized RTI of 180°C. Epic R1055/H5083 is also UL rated F1 and is suitable for outdoor use with respect to exposure to ultraviolet light, water exposure and immersion in accordance with UL 746C.
